Least Common Multiple

This Instructional Activity is a part of the Lesson 17, Unit 7, Grade 6. In this activity, students are introduced to the terms common multiple and least common multiple. Arrange students in groups of 2. Ask students to discuss what they think a common multiple of two whole numbers is with their partner. Give 5 minutes of quiet work time followed by 2 minutes of partner discussion. Follow with whole-class discussion.
