Nets and Surface Area

In this lesson, students calculate the surface area of prisms and pyramids given nets with grids. Let's use nets to find the surface area of polyhedra. By the end of the lesson students will be able to match polyhedra to their nets and explain how they know, when given a net of a prism or a pyramid, they will be able to calculate its surface area.
