Rectangles with Fractional Side Lengths

This lesson builds on students' work on area and fractions in grade 5. Students solve problems involving the relationship between area and side lengths of rectangles. Understand that, given the area and one side length of a rectangle, we can use division to find the other side length, even when the measurements are not whole numbers. Use multiplication and division to solve problems involving fractional lengths and areas of rectangles.
