Let's choose some recipes for a restaurant. Students will need access to a variety of recipes to choose from for this lesson. In this lesson, students apply proportional reasoning to calculate nutritional values per one serving of a recipe. The second activity asks students to invent another recipe that meets nutritional requirements to be considered low calorie, low fat, or low sodium.
