This Instructional Activity is a part of the Lesson 15, Unit 4, Grade 8. Now we have a line that does not go through the origin of the graph. Our process for finding slope changes only slightly. We will mark the point P at any location on the line. Other than that, the work remains the same. We will go one unit to the right of P and mark point Q and then draw a line through Q parallel to the y-axis.
