Base-ten Representations Matching

This Instructional Activity is a part of the Lesson 9, Unit 7, Grade 8. In this activity, students use their understanding of decimal place value and base-ten diagrams to practice working with the structure of scientific notation before it is formally introduced. Students express numbers as sums of terms, each term being multiples of powers of 10.
