Description: This clip, which takes the form of a teacher-led "Math Talk," addresses the relationship between decreasing divisor values (decreasing by powers of 10 -- e.g., dividing a given number by 1000 vs. 100 vs. 10), and a correspondingly increasing (also by powers of 10) quotient / answer value. The teacher also gives a new example, with a previously unseen numerator (2300), and demonstrates how the pattern still holds. The final example (2300/1000) results in a decimal value (2.3).
